My roommate, Vicki, came along with us for the exploration. She has a great appreciation for wild flowers and trees and really any vegetation, just like mom :).
Mom found a huge fig tree growing in the walls of the castle.
This snap dragon plant was also growing beautifully along one of the stairwells.
