Many of the students have been spending time with their Turkish friends, together on Monday nights. One night they decided to throw the American football in the street.
This is just one balcony of many that was filled with neighbors gawking at the strange pig-skin ball being tossed into the air. We were on the balcony directly across from them waving and trying to talk to each other. Their children were down in the street learning how to throw the football.
