Looking at the camera through teary eyes. We had a sweet reunion and I was eased into the country with a caramel machiato from Starbucks.
My first meal in Turkey: chicken/tomatoes, green beans/tomatoes, tomato bisque soup/tomatoes. It was great.
I was so surprised by the vegetation growing so abundantly. I made sure to tell Lindsey all the names of the plants. Mom still has some words of wisdom to impart :).
