I had always imagined what it might be like to get stuck in an elevator and then I got stuck in one. Jeff, Andrea, Adeline and I were on our way to visit the third newborn of the month, Landon Byrd. We got on the elevator fully aware that it wasn't working properly, but some things only have the appearnace of mal-functioning and we were going to the fifth floor, so we boarded. I'm not sure how long we were stuck, but just as I had imagined it was terribly hot and we were on the verge of panic. Some really nice men came and pried the door open after we felt ourselves being slowly lowered to ground leve. We kept ourselves entertained with the camera, though the camera didn't quite capture our true emotions.
