A Unique Christmas

This is the view from our salon window on Christmas Eve. It snowed the whole morning and into the day--so beautiful.
Our Christmas tree will probably stay up through the new year. Christmas trees are a common sighting in homes after Christmas. Christmas evening I worshipped with some friends and Turkish brothers and sisters at a church in the city. Jesus is alive and is coming soon! Emily and I are demonstrating what we gave eachother for Christmas. I gave her a back massage and she gave me a pair of earrings. This is her last full week in Istanbul :(.

I was greeted a few weeks ago with these precious "fish lips" from Emma "Boo" Bugnar and Spurgeon (great sweater Spurge). This was just one of many sweet surprises that came in the mail.
